As the news coverage continues regarding the murders of U.S. Ambassador to Libya Chris Stevens and three other americans, the name of islamophobe Terry Jones emerges again, this time after having promoted “International Judge Muhammad Day,” and allegedly backing and streaming over the internet a derogatory film on Islam’s prophet Muhammad and followers. It is hard to forget that Jones’ public pulpit touting his intent (and later actual) burning of Qur’ans in 2010 resulted in the deaths of 50 people and the injuries of 150 others.
I don’t question Jones’ right to freedom of speech, I question his conscience, or rather lack of. Sadly, calling himself christian does little to dissuade the image of american infidels.
